Emily Joyce is a fiber artist and entrepreneur based in Northwest Arkansas, renowned for her sculptural wall hangings that intertwine modern aesthetic, texture, and movement.

As the founder of Millie’s Luxury Wall Hangings, Emily has transformed a personal passion into an internationally recognized brand, celebrated for its tactile artistry and deep-rooted storytelling.
The seeds of Millie’s were planted during a season of profound transition. Upon retiring from her corporate career to stay home with her newborn, Emily found herself deeply impacted by her environment — or rather, the lack of connection to it. As she moved through the early days of motherhood, she realized that so many of the spaces we spend our lives in are sterile, square, and void of personalization — filled with mass-produced decor that looks the same from house to house, offering little warmth or identity.
In contrast, Emily longed for her home to feel like just that — home. A place that felt deeply connected, grounding, and alive. For her, that feeling has always been found in nature: in the quiet sway of trees, the softness of moss, the movement of tall grass in the wind. So her earliest works became just that — resemblances of nature, brought indoors. Pieces that stirred something in the heart through texture, motion, and a sense of vitality.
Millie’s — named in honor of Emily’s grandmother Billie, who gifted her the first batch of yarn that sparked it all — began as a homegrown art project and quickly grew into a sought-after brand. A pivotal shift came when Emily’s social media presence went viral, and everything changed. Her work was suddenly being seen around the world — garnering attention from collectors, stylists, and design houses across the globe who were drawn to its softness, dimension, and soul.
Today, Emily operates out of her private studio in Northwest Arkansas, working alongside her grandmother Billie — the namesake of Millie’s — and her husband Quinn, who helped design and construct the space that now holds the heart of the brand. Together, they bring to life pieces that are not only visually captivating but built to be touched, felt, and interacted with. Her work is now collected by private clients, designers, and commercial spaces across the country and abroad.
Millie’s has also grown into a brand with community at its core. Emily regularly donates work to charitable causes, including the Junior League of Northwest Arkansas’ Moonlight Masquerade supporting domestic violence awareness, as well as donating "scrap packs" (all of her leftover materials from her craft) to local preschools and STEM centers. Her Small Business Sundays initiative uplifts other makers and creators, using her platform to spotlight meaningful work from underrepresented voices.
At its heart, Millie’s is about bringing the wildness of nature into the stillness of our homes. It’s about creating spaces that feel lived in, personal, and full of movement — where art becomes something you don’t just look at, but live with.
